Aaron, How can I locate this video on your Steel Picking web site so I can watch it without advertisements? I can get to the backing track with no problem, but cannot figure out a way to locate the video on your steel picking website. Doing a search does not seem to work.

So the 6min is your A pedal in the (1) chord fret.

I call my B&C together the Johnny Rodriguez pedals.

Can we just go to the Fret we need the minor in and use our A pedal? I’m trying the think of an easy way to rmbr it. Ok,we can just stay in the 1 fret and get our 2min. Chord by pressing B&C and playing the 7 string?

I needed this video so bad.I just got my Ritt y-day and it’s not completely set up. Yes,I half release the A pedal on Together Again.

Finally got my Ritt in y-day.Still have to do a little adjusting but it’s smoothe as butter.

Well I bought a new Ultra from a friend who worked at the shop for GFI. Beautiful gold and black SD10 4x5. Plays like butter and sounds great.

Aaron, I came back for another listen. I want a different reverb and delay for pedal steel. Everyone was hot on the Nux Alantic but it seems they have problems having to reboot the pedal. My old Boss RV3 works but sounds dated and not enough control. This pedal seems to be a decent one. I tried the Sonicake Levitate and sent it back because it had a serious hum on any power supply I own. I'm ready to try a better pedal.

Really nice intro!! I like the use of the 2nd string which im trying to learn how to use more. I use it more with the D lower than just the Eb which you have on your 4th string lower. I don't have the C# though except on my 5th string raise.

Where & how do you make that adjustment if my guitar doesn’t have split tuning?

I use that half A pedal on Together Again,then engage the Horizontal pedal.

I’ve been playing for 9 years and just learned the 5 chord was 1,2&5 string. I’ve always thought it was only B pedal D lever and any of the grips.We can learn so much with Aaron if we’ll just slow down and take the time to listen and take mental as well as physically writing the notes down. These kinds of lessons will help get you out of a “Wreck” or if you’ve gotten lost in a ride. Thank you so much Aaron. I sold my 92 Mullen in March of 93 and am getting a new Rittenberry one day next week.I can’t wait to apply all of these things you’ve taught us. I haven’t been behind a steel in 16 months,& boy am I ready.

I believe that’s called a “Counterpoint”. It’s used in Price’s “Touch My Heart”

So already have the 2 completely engaged before mashing the A pedal.Can you do something similar with the 1 & 6 string ?
